As Kenneth Wapnick when said, “Enjoy is quiet and will not need to make assertions.” The miracle-minded understand that prayer is to ask to discover ways to forgive first to ensure that correct prayer is launched back into song. Our goal will be miracle-minded with the true miracle brain of the Holy Spirit right-mind and that’s just through choice. The power of decision can be your one remaining freedom as a prisoner with this world You can opt to see right (T-12.VII.9).
Mr. Wapnick also has some wonderful articles that get straight to the stage with this matter. They are taken from his two-book collection on, “The Meaning Of A Course In Miracles” that is filled in what the Course does and doesn’t say. These quotes speak for themselves and do not need reinterpretation:
Spiritual specialness describes people working out their egos’ specialness, but disguising it as spiritual dress. This frequently will come in the shape of thinking they have received “special” recommendations, “special” favors, or “special” commissions from “special” divine persons such as for instance Jesus or the Sacred Spirit, which serves to produce these individuals spiritually distinctive from others and thus more “special” (Few Select To Listen, p. 141).
What we’re calling “religious specialness” seems in the customers of almost all religious or religious movements. This often is available in the shape of believing that the party or members have already been singled out by Lord or the Holy Spirit to execute some sacred purpose that will benefit humanity and lead towards the preserving of the world. However, such intrinsic specialness is obviously not the case with the teachings of A Course in Miracles (Few Select To Hear, p. 144).
Specialness can be noticed in many different other kinds beyond labels just mentioned. For instance, claiming who we “share the stage” with, i.e., other Course teachers is exactly the same limelight error. We do all this because of our great repressed anxiety and shame; and we get it done rather than learning and practicing the Course. This can be a course on sameness and one that reflects a course in miracles:
That failure to genuinely training A Course in Miracles’ kind concepts of forgiveness they examine, and sometimes even show, has probably been probably the most serious failing among its students. That book’s sequel, “Few Elect to Listen,” discusses how pupils usually conceal their thought system of specialness under the guise of religious counseling or friendship. The lack of easy kindness is, unfortuitously, distinguished to all except the Course student creating the spiritual pronouncements (All Are Named, p. 306).
